Perhaps the most recognizable game in the franchise is 2009's Ghostbusters: The Video Game. The franchise has a long-running history of game adaptions dating back to 1984. This won't be the first Ghostbusters video game. Fans are speculating that the game will place one player in the role of a ghost who must avoid a team of Ghostbusters looking to eliminate the spooky threat. No further information on the project was provided but given Ilfonic's track record and the nature of the Ghostbuster's IP, it's possible that the game will be an asymmetrical multiplayer experience.
