So it seems that this has to do with Spyder Software as you suggested. The upgrade to W10 1909 was not helpful, but I switched off the Calibration in Spyder Software and than the strange color stayed there, until I switched it on again. I found Spyder and X-Rite software are pretty crap. Have you tried safe-mode, or disabling the Spyder software from loading on startup?Īnother thing you can try is to uninstall the Spyder software and use Displa圜AL instead. I only use Windows to play games occasionally so I don't even know which version I'm on. I use Displa圜AL for loading monitor profile. I see similar transition from un-calibrated state to calibrated state at start up on every boot, too, but the uncalibrated state is not that dramatic, and it happens about 2-3 second after seeing the desktop. If I do a screenshot during that strange color phase the colors of the screenshot is normal. But after the 30 seconds the color on the screen is normal.

I heard that W10 1903 has a problem with color profiles. ( made with datacolor spyder5Express 5.3) I also use a calibrated profile for the lcd screen. I have a Dell XPS15 with W10 Home and since the update to W10 Version 1903 this summer I always get strange colors on the screen when the notebbok starts.
